My sister turned 70 on November 15. She LOVES Jo Morton
fabrics, so I decided to make her a quilt using mostly JM fabrics.
Michelle Pearce from NJ was at our guild in the spring, and she had
panels that had sayings printed on them regarding 'sisters', so I
purchased one from her. I used Atkinson Designs "Yellow Brick Road"
pattern and placed the word squares throughout the quilt. Funny thing
is--when I cut out the word squares, there were 20 of them (I think),
but when I started putting them into the quilt, there were only 15. So,
I guess somewhere along the line I dropped 5 of them. If I ever find
them, I guess I will make her a pillow! She loves the quilt, and I got a
text from her this morning that she was at the beach and has the quilt
on her bed there.
